​This pillar is pride of place at the entrance way to a large property in Kensington, London. The brick pillar had been restored but the mortar joint in particular did not match the original, meaning that the brickwork stood out and was unsightly. In addition, trades had spilt material directly on to the brickwork, leaving an unsightly staining.
