LIFETIME GURANTEE
All Brick and Mortar Tinting work carried out by Remedial Repair Brickwork Technicians is covered by our Lifetime Guarantee.
The guarantee is that the tinted brickwork (brick and mortar) will not fade or alter beyond natural weathering for the life of the brick/mortar onto which it is applied. When tinted bricks are being tinted to match and blend with adjoining brickwork, the guarantee stipulates that no difference between the original and the tinted brickwork will ever occur. Brick Tinting is a mixture of individually mixed colour dyes that when applied soak into the clay of the brickwork to create a permanent colour change. Unlike a paint, it does not simply sit on the face of the brick, it dyes the particles of the clay/mortar without having any affect on the technical characteristics and manufacturers specification of the brickwork. The tinted brickwork will simply 'weather' as normal alongside and inline with the adjoining untreated brickwork. When Does the guarantee come into affect ?
Upon completion of work on site and your approval/acceptance of the completed work, your brickwork technician will issue you with a signed job sheet with a guarantee pack. Your guarantee is live and valid from this point.
How Do I Verify a Claim?
In the first instance send pictures of the brickwork to [email protected].
In most cases this will prompt an initial site visit to view the brickwork in person and arrange corrective works. WhaT INVALIDATES a claim?
The only action that can invalidate a claim under our Brick Tinting Lifetime Guarantee is if the brickwork has subsequently been cleaned by brick acid or any other type of brick cleaning chemical within the first 6 weeks after tinting work having been completed.
This also applies if any other type of chemical is applied to the brickwork, including sealants. Unless previously approved by Bricksuk Ltd in writing or carried out by Remedial Repair Brick Technicians. Brick Tinting must also only be carried out on newly constructed brickwork after it has been cleaned as would be normal practice for freshly constructed brickwork. This should just be a 'standard' brick acid clean, with particular focus on removing remnants of mortar splatter, etc. CLAIM LIMITS
There is no limit to our Lifetime Guarantee.
In the unlikely event that the guarantee is actioned we will promptly return the brickwork to its immediate post tinted state. is the GUARANTEE insured?
Unfortunately No. Our Lifetime Guarantee cannot be insured as it is based on skilled on-site labour and each brick tint colour is individually mixed on site in situ.
It is however backed by Bricksuk Ltd. A company that has been trading uninterrupted since June 2008. It is also worthy of note that we have never had a claim of our brick tinting lifetime guarantee - not even an attempted claim. The nature of our process is a permanent colour change to brick and mortar, once we have completed our works, the chances of any fading/colour change is practically impossible. ARE brick repair works covered?
No. Our Lifetime Guarantee only covers Brick and Mortar Tinting works and only becomes valid once a valid job sheet signed by both parties is presented to the customer with a Guarantee Pack.
