Brick and Mortar Repair and Tinting,
House Renovation, Lincoln
An external building facade renovation to a property in the centre of Lincoln.
This Grade ll listed building lays just in the shadow of the Lincoln Castle walls and as such the renovation was under close supervision of the local conservation authorities. Remedial Repair work consisted of various areas of brick and mortar tinting, repointing, brick repair, and a sensitive clean to areas of the facade including graffiti removal. |
The front bays and entrance had extensive repointing, repair, and tinting work carried out as this is the main entrance to the home.
As with many buildings of this type, the building facade required improving from its current state but was required to not go too far that it looked natural and 'too renovated'. Therefore, we carefully specified and agreed with the architect and client specific areas for improvement and the level of finish to create the desired finish to the external facade of the building. |
