This two storey side extension to a private house close to the A1 near Peterborough was built a few years ago in a buff multi coloured facing brick.  The extension stood out as much lighter than the original adjoining brickwork.

Remedial Repair technicians weathered down the extension brick and added additional darker shades to replicate the subtle multi coloured facings evident in the original house brickwork.  The results is an extension that blends more naturally.

​The final finish isn't perfect.  Thats because the mortar is a different colour.  The client opted to have the mortar tinted as well after these pictures were taken in order to achieve the perfect finish.
